Texas Instruments TIOL221 Transceiver
Texas Instruments TIOL221 Transceiver withstands up to 1.2 kV (500 Ω) per IEC 61000‑4‑5 surge requirements and includes built‑in protection against reverse polarity. This transceiver integrates dual low-power output drivers with active reverse-polarity protection. The TIOL221 transceiver can be configured to generate a wake-up pulse and be used in IO-link master applications. This transceiver features overcurrent, overvoltage, and over-temperature protections. The TIOL221 device also provides a driver output current limit via an external resistor. This transceiver is ideal for field transmitters and actuators, factory automation, process automation, and IO-link PHY in remote IO.
