KTD2041 9-Ch IR LED Driver

Kinetic Technologies KTD2041 9-Ch IR LED Driver offers an integrated buck regulator, creating an ideal power solution. The driver provides 9 high-precision current sinks that can be independently controlled through the I²C interface. The buck regulator has an input voltage operating range from 2.7V to 5.5V, allowing for 1-cell lithium-ion batteries or 5V voltage rail. The KTD2041 has adaptive output voltage control based on the headroom voltages of the LED current sinks to minimize power consumption. Additionally, the device has integrated high-side and low-side power FET. The buck regulator features advanced adaptive On-Time control with a 1MHz switching frequency, which minimizes external component counts and allows the use of a tiny inductor and capacitor.

IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers

ISSI IS32LT3175N/P Single-Channel Linear LED Drivers come with fade in/out and PWM dimming. The regulators serve as a stand-alone LED driver-configurable from 20mA to 150mA with external resistors, no microcontroller is necessary. A logic level “courtesy light” signal from the PWM pin can be interfaced to precisely drive the LED channel. The IS32LT3175P obtains a positive polarity PWM signal. In addition, the IS32LT3175N obtains a negative polarity PWM signal. The regulator integrates a 63-step fade-in and fades out the algorithm (Gamma correction). This causes the output LED current to increasingly rise up to the full source value after the EN pin is pulsed.
