SP-Cap Polymer Aluminum Capacitors

Panasonic SP-Cap Polymer Organic Aluminum Capacitors are surface-mount aluminum electrolytic capacitors that use a conductive polymer as the electrolyte in layered aluminum construction. The SP-Cap product line consists of multiple series' that offer capacitance ranges of up to 560µF, voltage range from 2V_DC to 35V_DC, and the lowest ESR/impedance in the industry, achieving very good noise suppression and transient response. Unlike MLCCs, SP-Caps are free from temperature drift and DC/AC bias characteristics. In addition, voltage deration is not needed in SP-Caps, as in tantalum capacitors, due to its safety features. Panasonic SP-Caps are the perfect solution for input and output capacitors for various DC/DC converters.

Polymer Capacitors

The EEH-ZA/ZC/ZK series utilizes the benefits of both electrolytic and aluminum polymer capacitor technologies, creating a capacitor with low ESR, low leakage current, high ripple current, and smaller case sizes.

CY & SY SP-Cap Polymer Capacitors

Pansonic CY and SY SP-Cap Polymer Capacitors are surface mount capacitors with 5100mA r.m.s to 6300mArms (maximum) high ripple current. These polymer capacitors are available with a 3.0mm (maximum) height. Panasonic CY and SY capacitors operate at -55°C to +85°C temperature range. Features include +85°C, 2000 hours endurance, ±20% capacitance tolerance, low ESL, and ≤0.06 dissipation factor.
