0603 High Capacitance High Voltage MLCCs

KYOCERA AVX 0603 High Capacitance High Voltage MLCCs offer a high capacitance, high voltage MLCC product line in 0603 case size. Additional sizes are also available: 0201, 0306, 0402, and 0508. KYOCERA AVX offers a variety of dielectric series for the standard commercial-grade MLCCs: X5R, Y5V, C0G(NPO), X7R, and U series. The X5R capacitors offer high capacitance values up to 100µF and are well suited for decoupling and filtering applications. The Y5V capacitors are formulated for general-purpose use in a limited temperature range. The C0G(NPO) series offers one of the most stable capacitor dielectrics available. The U series RF/Microwave C0G(NPO) capacitors are designed for ultra-low ESR applications in the communications market. KYOCERA AVX X7R capacitors are called temperature-stable ceramics and fall into EIA Class II materials.

Automotive Ceramic Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX Automotive Ceramic Capacitors feature a wide range of multilayer ceramic capacitor technologies that meet or exceed AEC-Q200 requirements. These KYOCERA AVX capacitors include surface-mount and leaded MLCCs as well as surface-mount feedthru filters.

Standard Commercial-Grade MLCCs

KYOCERA AVX Standard Commercial-Grade MLCCs are offered in a variety of dielectric series. The X5R capacitors offer high capacitance values up to 100µF and are well suited for decoupling and filtering applications. Y5V capacitors are formulated for general-purpose use in a limited temperature range. C0G(NPO) capacitors offer one of the most stable capacitor dielectrics available. FLEXITERM® Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors

KYOCERA AVX FLEXITERM^® Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors (MLCCs) are designed to enhance the mechanical flexure and temperature cycling performance of a standard ceramic capacitor with an X7R dielectric. The FLEXITERM technology meets the demand for components with enhanced mechanical strength and flexibility when used in harsh environment applications, such as automobiles, and in applications where temperature variation exists. KYOCERA AVX FLEXITERM MLCCs provide up to 5mm of flexure without internal cracks, 3mm above the 2mm industry standard. In addition, these advanced MLCCs reduce circuit board flex failures and offer increased temperature cycling performance of 3,000 cycles and beyond, a base metal electrode system, and automotive and commercial grade product selections.

Automotive FLEXITERM® & FLEXISAFE® MLCCs

KYOCERA AVX FLEXITERM^® and FLEXISAFE^® MLCCs feature enhanced mechanical strength and are ideal for automotive and medical applications, depending on the model. These MLCCs satisfy the requirement for enhanced mechanical strength by ensuring electrical integrity is maintained while external forces are being applied to the component. KYOCERA AVX FLEXITERM MLCCs provide up to 5mm of flexure without internal cracks. 

Capacitor Solutions

KYOCERA AVX provides a large portfolio of capacitor solutions designed around density, size, and reliability requirements.
